Since there is no Embassy of Austria in Bangladesh, applications are facilitated through the Embassy of France in Dhaka, which represents Austria, the Czech Republic, and Portugal for short-term visa processing.

Required Documents Checklist
Basic Documents
Passport: Original, valid for at least 6 months after leaving the Schengen territory, with at least two blank pages. Include all previous passports.
Photographs: Two recent color photos (35mm x 45mm, white background), taken within the last 3 months.
Financial Solvency: Personal or Company Bank Statement with a solvency certificate for the last 6 months.
Insurance: Travel health insurance valid for all Schengen countries (minimum coverage 30,000 EUR).
Occupational Documents
For Business Persons: Renewal Trade License, Certificate of Incorporation/Memorandum (if director), company letterhead, Import/Export certificate, and TIN/Income Tax Certificate.
For Job Holders: No Objection Certificate (NOC), Salary Certificate, and Pay slips.
For Students: Student ID card and a leave letter from the school/college/university.
Specialized: Government Order (G.O.) for official passports, BMDC certificate for Doctors, or BAR Council certificate for Advocates.
Supporting Documents
Tour Program/Itinerary, Visiting Card, Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificate of children, Proof of Property, Car Blue Book, and National Identity Card.
Other financial evidence such as FDR, share business documents, savings, or cash investments.
